why do we need to eat

Why we need to eat food Food is apart of our everyday life. We wake up and have breakfast then we have lunch and then dinner. You need food to survive. We need to eat food because it provides nutrients. Nutrients gives us energy which also helps us grow. It helps function the body such as breathing, digesting and keeping us warm. The foods we eat provide vitamins,minerals ,water,fat, carbohydrates,fibre and proteins. It is important to eat 3 to 4 nutritional meals a day. The average woman needs to eat 2000 calories but men need 2500 calories. Dietitians recommend that you eat every two hours.but others say you can eat three meals a day without eating anything else and maintain a healthy weight. If humans don’t eat well the pore are many health issues that they could face. If you don't eat you would have low blood sugars which makes you lose your energy, Which makes you tired and weak. When you don't eat a meal you start to run slow on glucose supply . Your body will start to break down and you will die after three weeks. This is why it is important to eat food. Food gives us energy to exercise and exercise helps us be healthy and being healthy makes us live longer.
